Well since it looks like WoC might finally be close to starting (Hopefully next week), i thought i would make a topic with the new info the fan's got from the live team yesterday, and also make this the WoC discussion thread.
So kinda looks like WoC will be done over 3 updates (Possibly one part per month since i believe John said WoC should run about the same time as WiK, which was roughly 3-4 months once it got going).
It's also nice to see that every quest has a hard mode version (So part 1 in theory has 21 quests in its story, but they can be done in NM and HM), but i wonder if you can do the HM version right away, or if its like the HM Galrath and titan quests and can only be done once the normal mode version / quest chain has been completed.
The other thing i like is how Part 1 of WoC alone has almost as many quests as all of WiK (Including the wanted dailies), kinda justifies why its taken so long to get to us, especially if parts 2 and 3 have around the same amount of quests.
I wonder though if each "Part" is completable in one go (Like how HOTN played out, with all the Keiran missions being doable in one go, then us having to wait for the wedding quests / event), or if each part is a month long, like 5 quests per week, with the final week having 6, and the 6th being the "Finale" quest / mission of that part.
Anyway i've rambled enough, time for discussion!

I honestly hope the quests are better then the WiK ones. Gawd. The waiting and wondering wth I was supposed to do (before the guides came out and matured), the waiting through dialogue, wondering wth was happening and the waiting for 20 pages of dialogue.|||Can't wait!

You'll be okay, if Mr. Stumme didn't lie to us. WoC is completely separate from WiK, so you don't have to finish WiK first. As long as you've finished the Factions campaign, you can participate in WoC.
