What's your character's story?

[:1]As I was signing off last night from playing my assassin I noticed that I started formulate who he was. Where does this guy from? What are his motives and goals? So here is an explanation of my characters. Share your visions as well!

Destai Moonwhisper

The progenitor of House Moonwhisper. Alone as a wandering ranger, he stumbled upon the voice of Melandru speaking to him in the wind. His bow was broken and his spirit shattered from the journey over the Shiverpeaks. Yet Melandru in her wisdom gave him her benediction and the last name of Moonwhisper. It was this name that would be given to those who would join him as brothers in the charge of the Gods, those that would bring healing to the world and victory to the just.

Orison

A monk who lost everything in the searing, he journeyed with Destai westward in the footsteps of the Prince. His faith held on by a thread only to be severed when Rurik fell, along with the hopes of Ascalon being saved. In time the bonds of friendship would rebuild the broken vessels of faith and restore his purpose in the eyes of Dwayna. Empowered by the vision of Destai, he regained not only his ability to heal but also strike those that would spread evil.

Dresden

Dresden grew up among the troupes and actors of Ascalon, content until the Searing showed him the bitter realities of war and poverty. Then the illusion fell. The movement of his people westward continued this shattering and in the wake of the White Mantle's betrayal, he turned to domination. His penetrating insight into reality gave him the power to wield not only his own mind but the minds of other. In the forge of suffering, a Mesmer was made. To learn the gentleness of life again, he was taught the healing arts by Orison and in doing so became a Moonwhisper.

Tybor

A nephew of Duke Barradin, he only knew the cushiest of jobs given to a warrior: escorts, grawl beatings and parties. As with many others, the days of luxury ended with the searing and he saw his fellow warriors die. He stood last among his friends and fellow warrior before a charr Necromancer; hatred seethed in his heart as the charr lay his curses upon him. With the last of his might, Tybor thrust his sword into the jaw of his enemy. He took the lesson as a life defining moment and carried on to fight for his fellow man. The curses would weigh on him through ash and snow, only to be lifted by a fellow Moonwhisper as he joined their ranks.

Riven

Riven was always an outcast. His fellow Vabbians lorded over him for his faith. He followed Balthazar and meditated in the heat of the desert, finding strength in isolation. His god directed him to become a Sunspear, where he met the other Moonwhispers. The holy fire of Balthazar guided him and his brothers across Elona, striking down the demons of Torment. Vindication came when he saved the lives of the spoiled Vabbians who once mocked him.

Seraph

Seraph was always a courageous soul. He would wrestle among the skales of Istan, win bets over Corsairs and talk his way out of anything. Until his family fell on hard times and he was forced to join the Sunspears. It was here that he would hear the testament of the Moonwhisper brotherhood from the pious lips of Riven. It was here he found his way and his purpose.

Tyravel

Tyravel was always impatient and fiery. He felt stifled by the traditions of the Kurzick, tired by the constant threat of the Kurzicks. On a fateful day, he would demonstrate his extraordinary ability to manipulate the forces of earth. In doing so Melandru revealed herself and bade him to seek out Destai, the first of the Moonwhispers. His pilgrimage led him to the Shing Jea Monastery, where the ranger would find him under the tutelage of Master Togo and bring him into the brotherhood as the first Canthan Moonwhisper.

Vidres

Vidres was loyal to the Imperial Dragon since his birth. The order, the harmony, the tradition - it all enthralled him. He worked as a farmhand on Shing Jea and often spoke of the farmers who spoke to him through the wind. His family became concerned, worried for his sanity. But fate would have that he was gifted with ability of channeling spirits, a gift that would manifest when hill giants attacked his village. Drawing the signet of spirits on the ground, he summoned the spirits of his enraged ancestors and struck down the giants. Under the guidance of Master Togo, he worked with Tyravel and found his way into the Moonwhisper family.

Landen

Landen knew nothing but suffering. His parents were once honest merchants, trying to subsist on the borders of the Undercity. This proved nigh impossible. The rival gangs strangled supply lines, killed or terrorized customers and forced shut their doors. When his parents refused to sell their property to the Am Fah, they were cut down before Landen. Two choices were clear to him: surrender and die or fight. Sneaking behind the Am Fah, he stole two daggers from one of the gloating assassins and drove them into his kidneys. As he bled, Landen stole his power and realized his own ability. He avenged his parents that and pleaded with Grenth to damn the souls of the assassins. Grenth asked for his service to eliminate the wicked, a charge that was eagerly taken.

Xavier

The plague was a curse to most. There were some among the Canthan who thought otherwise. Xavier was raised around the Am Fah and though he never succumbed to their ranks, he often trafficked with them for survival in the forgotten Undercity. As more of the Am Fah sickened, Xavier saw the true nature of death. Grenth chillingly spoke to him, bade him to slay the wicked and seek out those in the charge of the Gods. In doing so, he found Landen, an assassin with thirsty blades and became a Moonwhisper.|||I do have story or lore on my charactors I will post it or blog it when I am in the mood.I posted it on GWRPG which is down possibly for good.
