We need a tourney

[:1]One of my favorite things about D2 were the single player tourneys. A seemingly impossible challenge would be thrown down, a few dozen players would enter, and someone would inevitably succeed. Finish the game without ever being healed by anything ever? Check. Beat Hell Baal without having any control over your skills at all? Check. Beat Hell Baal with no investment what-so-ever in health? Check.

We need a Guild Wars challenge. It doesn't even need to be a competition among us, but someone throw down a gauntlet of something that can't be done and let someone do it. Some ideas, no deaths at all is a given:

• I did a mesmer challenge, where I vanqed quite a few zones using nothing but mesmers using nothing but mesmer skills. This is relatively played out since it doesn't require much skill on the human end; AI plays mesmers perfectly.
  


• Do something using only henchmen. This might not have much life since the henchmen bars have been updated. Also you'd have to restrict your own skills or you could just SoS the goal.
  


• No armor/equipment something, including heroes. MMs forbidden.
  


• Randomway. Random.org as you choose heroes and do, say, Vloxen HM. Let dice pick your heroes and you choose the skillbars.
  


• Melee way. Accomplish a goal using nothing but 8 melee, AoD dervs forbidden.

I have an easy one: Killed Fendi Nin with 8 smiting monks. Smiting prayer must be 14+ for everyone. Hint: use Smiter's Boon.|||Too easy, Chips, that used to be the meta. |||play UW without armor and only use healing breaze, if that's not challenging enough i dunno.|||Finish the game Solo.

Barring the nightfall missions where you have to bring specific heroes, and the two solo missions, it should be a challenge.

I would've thought someone would mention this immediately.|||I feel like solo play would descend in to spirit spamming. Doing it with other builds would be interesting... I would be impressed if someone did it. Maybe an incredibly skilled mesmer could pull it off? Kind of like Lytha and her soloing a side of Eternal Grove. Only much harder. |||Do it solo, starting with Prophecies and going through all campaigns, in order.

Well, random difficult challenges will pretty much go to the extremes in terms of abusing AI and anything overpowered since there's really no other possible way of getting them done so I don't see the issue with it.

Besides, anyone dedicated and patient enough to do it really deserves at least some recognition for caring enough to try.|||A few members of my alliance like to take on elite areas in hm with less than half a party just for kicks... Today we finished Tombs in hm with 3 people =] it was fun.

I am very inclined to try to solo the games now... we'll see if I find time to try that this term when I'm not busy with school and suchs
