a better "talk like a pirate day" event

[:1]when the talk like a pirate day begins, all we have is some drinks dropping and NPC's changing in corsairs.

so what would i see added, simply some fun quests.

"why is the rum gone?"

a corsair lost his shipment of rum in plains of jarin, you have to retrieve all 6 boxes.

be warned, the boxes are probably guarded so take some friends with you to help out.

reward: 10 gogs of rum

"a heart of dirt"

a rotten corsair captain came back from a killing spree of tengu's and undead, but now his body is poisoned.

it's your job to find a cure for his poisoned blood, only the most selfish man can have such a cure. (this triggers some conversations with random corsairs walking around LA)

reward: 5 corsair transformation tonics

"nice beard, fish stick"

a group of skulls are scared and fled out of there camp, they search for a capable fighter to take down a ghostly pirate.

the flying Dutchmen has appeared in the camp to retrieve a treasure, find this treasure to satisfy the ghostly pirate.

reward: ghostly weapon of your choice, only one per character.

it's obvious where i got it all from, i just want something fun in the event with all kinds of humor in it.

one group of corsairs guarding a rum box could be really drunk, so drunk that they can't fight anymore and just shout some fun things like "taki taki snip snipppppuahahaha" or "ey matey, want a drink?"|||cool idea, let em add more fun into those dull old events

and fun quests are better than challenges-only updates, and the old ways of having simple events

and having some huimor in it will make people a bit more happy, which can be very useful for those who left GW (like myself, playing perfect world, lol) and may let em return only to see the fun Anet gave em, which adds a chance of let em return into the game and..... you know, they may buy stuff again, so its only profit if they do it right

dunno if they would do it this way, but at least some other way than just the dull rituals they use for any fun part of the game

i think this also encourage people in having more fun than just raptor farming for the items

so.... great idea, both your way and the idea to make more living events (in this case pirate day)
